1. Informational Service Only
The ViaConecta Public Transport Planner is provided strictly as an informational service to assist our users while traveling. We aggregate and display schedules, routes, and connections from various public transit authorities. We do not operate any transport services, nor do we sell tickets for buses, trains, or metro systems. All travel is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective transport operators.
2. Limitation of Liability for Transport Data
While we strive to provide real-time and accurate data, public transport schedules are inherently subject to sudden changes, cancellations, delays, and rerouting due to weather, strikes, or technical faults. Therefore, ViaConecta makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy or timeliness of the transport data provided.
- We are not liable for missed flights, meetings, or connections resulting from reliance on our planner.
- We are not responsible for direct or indirect financial losses due to transport delays.
- Always verify critical travel times with local transit authorities or station displays.
3. Data Source Attribution
Sweden: Our Swedish public transport routing data is powered by the ResRobot API, provided by Trafiklab. All schedule data and station information for Sweden is strictly the intellectual property of the respective regional transit authorities (such as SL, SJ, Västtrafik, Skånetrafiken, etc.) operating through Trafiklab.
Germany: Our German public transport routing data is powered by the transport.rest API, utilizing data from Deutsche Bahn (DB), BVG, and regional transit networks across Germany. Data is provided under their respective open data licenses.
France: French transport routing and scheduling data is powered by the Navitia API and SNCF Open Data, incorporating information from SNCF, RATP, and regional mobility networks in France.
Switzerland: Swiss transport schedules and connections are sourced through the Opendata.ch Transport API, which aggregates data from SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) and other local public transport operators.
United Kingdom: UK rail and transit data relies on the Rail Data Marketplace (RDM) and National Rail Enquiries (NRE) feeds, including the Darwin real-time train information system.
Netherlands: Public transport routing within the Netherlands utilizes the NS API (Nederlandse Spoorwegen), providing access to national train schedules and local connections.
4. External Links and Ticket Purchases
If our application redirects you to a local transit app or website to purchase a ticket, you understand that your transaction is conducted entirely with that third party. ViaConecta assumes no responsibility for payment processing, ticket validity, or refunds for any transport tickets.
5. Search Analytics and Data Privacy
To improve our services and understand popular travel routes, ViaConecta securely logs the origin and destination station names of transport searches made on our platform. We do not link these searches to individual user accounts, IP addresses, or personal identifiable information (PII). All transport search data is strictly aggregated for analytical purposes.
